Terrarium
Performance, 40min, 2021

‘Terrarium’ is about the emotions that arise from a relationship with a loved one, such as a family member or a partner. While they love each other, the expectation and pressure that builds up between them also gradually builds up, and at some point, it becomes one-sided. Sun Oh, placed in a space made up of moss and soil, looks cosy, but also somewhat uncomfortable. The work shows the process of a relationship that begins with dependence on the other, but eventually stands on its own feet and reflecting on oneself.
